Glassell Park Council to Consider T-Shirt and Newsletter Ad Spending
The August 18 virtual meeting includes proposed outreach spending and self-nominations for vacant neighborhood council seats.

The short version
1.The board meets online Tuesday, August 18, at 7 p.m.; residents can join by Zoom or phone.
2.Members will consider $1,500 for T-shirts to give away at in-person outreach events.
3.A separate proposal would fund full-page newsletter ads at up to $450 per issue for six issues—up to $2,700 for the 2026–2027 fiscal year.
4.The council will accept self-nominations for Area 2, 3, 5 and 6 representative seats, four alternate seats and two at-large seats.
5.Public comments are generally limited to two minutes per speaker. Comments on agenda items are heard when each item comes up, before board action.
